While some schools nationwide are struggling with maintaining enrollment, the University of Charleston said it is seeing an over 20% increase in its new student enrollment for the 2024 spring semester. Total enrollment of new and returning students from spring to spring has increased by 3% as well. The University said on its website that enrollment increases came from several programs across all locations (Charleston, Beckley, and online) and all degree levels.
