The West Virginia House passed a bill that would remove exemptions currently in place for libraries, schools and museums. Under the bill, those who work in these spaces could be criminally charged for displaying or distributing material considered obscene to minors. Those charged would face a $25,000 fine or five years in prison. The bill moves to the Senate.
