Cabell County EMS has plans for a new station. A lot directly across from the CCEMS administrative offices on 8th Avenue in Huntington became available and they plan to build a new station there. The station it is replacing was built in 1926 and is multiple levels, which is hard on crews, so the new station will be one level.
The project will go to bid on March 28 and bids will come back on April 25. The goal is to break ground on May 9.
