A Pennsylvania man has been charged in connection with a deadly crash on Interstate 79 in West Virginia earlier this year. Thomas Horner III is charged with two counts of negligent homicide and one count of reckless driving with injury in connection with a Jan. 3, 2024, crash that killed two people, according to a news release from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said Horner was involved in a crash near the 149 mile marker that killed 21-year old Zaquan George and 19-year old Margaret Erdie, both of Morgantown.
