The union representing Kroger employees held a vote and members rejected the company’s offer last week. Though a strike has been authorized, there is no strike happening right now. Rallies are planned at three area Kroger stores on Monday, March 11 at 4 pm. The stores to hold rallies will be at 350 Patteson Drive in Morgantown; 5717 MacCorkle Ave. SE in Charleston; and 1734 Harper Road in Beckley. Dozens of stores across West Virginia will be impacted if the workers decide to strike.
