Some KRT riders will receive refunds in the coming days

The Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority said an app that riders use to purchase fares back charged several transactions due to processing delays.
KRT customers who made mobile fare purchases using the EZfare platform in the Transit app experienced transaction delays that resulted in the charges being processed all at once, causing confusion for those who use, according to a KRT news release. Riders impacted by the incident will be refunded. Any KRT rider who purchased tickets through the Transit app since November 2023 will automatically receive refunds in the coming days.
