West Virginia State University announced they’ll host a free solar eclipse viewing on April 8 for anyone who wants to attend. The event will start at Hamblin Hall at 1:30pm, and they’ll show an eclipse live feed from NASA as the eclipse path starts to darken across the U.S. Telescopes will be set up next to the WVSU Clock Tower. The solar eclipse will begin at 1:55 pm. and end at 4:27 in Institute. The peak will be at 3:13 pm when Institute will see 93% totality. The next total solar eclipse in the Charleston area won’t happen until 2099.
