West Virginia State Police have released more information on a small plane that crashed at the Logan County Airport. The crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. Friday. Troopers said the single engine plane was enroute from South Carolina to Rochester, New York when the pilot attempted to land at the Logan County Airport for fuel. The plane overshot the runway and came to rest in a wooded area on airport property. Troopers said the pilot, his wife and two teenage daughters suffered minor injuries, but denied medical attention at the scene. Logan firefighters drove them to Charleston to continue their trip to New York. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
