Hundreds young archers were in Charleston Saturday as the West Virginia Archery in the Schools State Tournament took over the Charleston Coliseum. The tournament featured sharpshooters from dozens of schools across the Mountain State and 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of a West Virginia Division of Natural Resources program dedicated to making archery a part of physical education. Schools from Ripley, Ravenswood, Poca, Clendenin, Charleston, and more were represented at the tournament.
