Gov. Jim Justice promises that his family businesses will pay back taxes owed to the state. Sales taxes from the governor’s family-owned Greenbrier Resort owes $3.5 million in back taxes and the state tax department recently issued seven liens against the property. Also, Greenbrier County is owed $2.5 million in local sales taxes. No timeline has been released for when the taxes wil be paid.
