A multi-vehicle crash has shut down a portion of US 35 in Putnam County. Putnam County Sheriff Bobby Eggleton says although they know there are injuries they have no word on how many people were hurt. Putnam County 911 dispatchers say the crash happened around 3:30 p.m.Friday near Hurricane Creek Road. At least three vehicles were involved. At this time southbound lanes of US 35 are shut down due to the crash, The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Putnam County Emergency Management, Putnam County EMS, Winfield Volunteer Fire Department, Teays Valley Volunteer Fire department, and Kanawha County EMS have responded to the crash.
