Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin said over 45 tons of trash was collected at the Spring 2024 Team Up to Clean Up event on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Around 60 volunteers representing local businesses, organizations and the city came together to clean and beautify the Kanawha City and South Hills areas.The City of Charleston’s next two Team Up to Clean Up events are scheduled for Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the KRT parking lot, 441 Stockton Street in Charleston. The next one will be at the Shanklin Parking Garage, 503 Virginia Street, East.
