West Virginia State Wildlife Center reopens

The West Virginia State Wildlife Center opened its doors Wednesday after reclaiming its federal licensure. The Upshur County facility was closed for an annual inspection and underwent a relicensing process after the U.S. Department of Agriculture noted a need for a secondary containment fence. The Division of Natural Resources operates the facility, which offers opportunities to observe and learn about West Virginia wildlife. There’s more on the West Virginia DNR website.
