A Charleston woman is about to celebrate a milestone birthday. Zelma Cole will turn 100 on Thursday, May 30. She’s worked in ticket sales over the years at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, and she worked in the Charleston Gazette’s circulation department. Zelma’s 96th birthday happened in 2020 during the COVID pandemic, and Charleston Police helped her friends and family with a drive-by celebration.
