Charges are expected to be filed after a crash involving a garbage truck closed lanes of Interstate 77 early Tuesday morning in Kanawha County. The crash was reported about 4 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-77 near mile marker 96, according to Metro 911. Investigators said a vehicle cut off a garbage truck, causing it to overturn. No injuries were reported. The driver of the vehicle fled the area, but Kanawha County deputies said the person has been identified and charges are expected to be filed for leaving the scene of an accident.
