Former Clay mayor Josh Shamblin passed away this week. Shamblin was first elected as mayor in 2019 and then re-elected in 2023. He stepped down from the position in February. A candlelight vigil is scheduled for tonight (Thursday) at 7 p.m. at Clay Municipal Park. Shamblin was appointed to Clay’s city council in 2016.
