The City of Charleston is taking comments to include in ongoing discussions about the Municipal Auditorium. You can send in your comments online at charlestonwv.gov through May 15 at 5 pm. The City temporarily closed the Municipal Auditorium in February over what it called “critical electrical and structural issues,” and they’ve been looking for solutions. Mayor Amy Goodwin said in a statement they’ve been concerned about the condition of the building for some time. The building opened in 1939.
