The Charleston Sternwheel Regatta is right around the corner and event organizers have announced supporting acts. The festivities will kick off the first week of June and feature four nights of free music. Morgantown’s reggae group, the Tom Batchelor Band will open for Shaggy on Wednesday, July 3. The group Shine will play blues rock before Beatles tribute band The Fab Four takes the stage on Independence Day. Friday night’s show will feature The Voice contestant Emily Ann Roberts prior to a performance from Montgomery Gentry featuring Eddie Montgomery. And then, local favorite The Unit Band will play before the I Love the 90s ensemble on Saturday, July 6. The music will be on the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park each night.
