State money will help make repairs to a Wheeling cemetery

Major repairs are needed after an April mudslide wrecked headstones at the Wheeling Mt. Zion Cemetery, and now they’ll get a financial boost to help with the cleanup. Governor Jim Justice gave a $2 million check to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Association to help with repairs to 150 gravestones. The cemetery is closed to visitors, and will remain that way until the repairs are made, which could take a year or longer.
