A Charleston man will spend 15 years in prison after the stabbing death of his fiancé. Michael Flemming Jr. pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in March for the 2021 murder of Virginia Bradford. Eyewitness News reported that Bradford’s family doesn’t think justice was served but commended Judge Dave Hardy for giving him the maximum sentence. Fleming has also been ordered to pay $1 million in restitution when he gets parole.
