A preliminary hearing has been set for a man accused of leading police on a pursuit

A Kanawha County man accused of firing gunshots from his vehicle and leading law enforcement on a high-speed vehicle pursuit has been charged. Jesse Cobb of Sissonville, has been charged with two counts of wanton endangerment, according to criminal complaints filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. The complaints said Cobb is accused of firing a gun from his pickup truck while traveling through Charleston and South Charleston, striking another vehicle on the trunk lid. A high-speed chase ended with spike strips deployed along Route 119 near Alum Creek Road. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 26.
