FEMA moving from St Albans to Dunbar

The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be relocating a disaster recovery center for West Virginians affected by April’s severe weather. A center at the Hansford Senior Community Center in St. Albans closed Friday and moved to Dunbar, according to a news release from the agency. The news release said the new center will open at the Dunbar Recreation Center, located at 2601 Fairlawn Avenue, beginning Saturday. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through June 22.Officials recommend storm survivors who have received a letter concerning their applications visit a disaster relief center for assistance. Survivors may also get help by calling 800-621-3362 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
