A new manufacturing facility will move into Wood County, marking a $2.5 million investment. Japan-based SOMAR will move into the Polymer Alliance Zone Industrial Park to create epoxy resin used in the automotive industry, according to a news release from West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice’s Office. The news release said the facility is expected to employ 25 people.
