The mother of a man killed last month is asking for help finding her son’s killer. Dimitri Coleman died May 25 after someone walked up and grabbed him from behind, and shot him four times. It happened in the 400 block of Railroad Avenue in Charleston.Dimitri’s monther, Alvernita Coleman, spoke with Eyewitness News and wants anyone who has tips to come forward. The homicide investigation is continuing. Coleman’s funeral is Friday and the family has a GoFundMe set up to help with expenses.
