New dirt bike trails are coming to Kanawha County, and they’ll be maintained by the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System. The plan is to open thirty miles of new trails next to Meadow Wood Park in Tornado. The project has been in the works for several months, and the newest expansion should be open later this summer. The Hatfield and McCoy Trails cover over 1,000 miles of terrain through the Southern West Virginia mountains. Those with season passes won’t have to pay anything extra to use the new trails.
