New outdoor fitness area is open at the University of Charleston

The new Outdoor Fitness Court is open now at the University of Charleston. It’s part of the National Fitness Campaign, which builds free fitness resources around the country, and it’s only the second one to be built in West Virginia. UC says on its website that the court provides a full-body workout in only seven minutes and is free and open to the public. The workout includes seven zones – core, squat, push, lunge, pull, agility, and bend – for a circuit training workout. The Fitness Court is located between the Boat House and the Morrison Fitness Center on the river lawn.
