The Putnam County Animal Shelter could use some help in upgrading its facilities.
The shelter said it is currently accommodating more than 120 animals and is facing significant wear and tear on its infrastructure that require immediate upgrades. A news release from the shelter said new flooring is at the top of the list, so the shelter is launching a campaign to adopt/foster all of its animals – specifically dogs and puppies – by July 7. They have several adoption events coming up, and they’ll post more on their Facebook page. Meanwhile, you can contribute through donations, volunteering, or fostering animals during the renovation period.
