Cabell County Schools Superintendent Ryan Saxe has been hired as the new superintendent for Berkeley County Schools. The Berkeley County Board of Education voted unanimously to hire Saxe as the superintendent for the next three years. The Cabell County Board of Education will meet today to consider releasing Saxe from his contract and to appoint another person to serve as superintendent.
Saxe has served as superintendent of the school system since 2017.
