West Virginia Division of Natural Resources Police identified the Charleston man who drowned Monday morning at Sutton Lake. The body of 25-year old Kevaughn Montgomery was found in the Wolf Run area of Sutton Lake in Braxton County Tuesday evening. Investigators said Montgomery was boating at the lake with his family Monday morning when his young son slipped into the water. While rescuing his son, Montgomery slipped below the surface and never came back up. Montgomery’s body was discovered in a section of the lake that was about 12 feet deep.
