Fayette County man arrested for a June robbery and for kidnapping girlfriend

A man has been arrested in an armed robbery investigation and Fayette County deputies say he faces additional charges for assaulting his girlfriend for identifying him. Clinton H. Hall, 50, of Mossy is charged with armed robbery and presentation of a firearm in the commission of a felony in an incident on June 15 at the Midway T&C gas station. Deputies said Hall was identified by his girlfriend as the suspect in the case two weeks later. A few days after that, the sheriff’s office was notified that the woman was in the hospital. Hall is accused of allegedly strangling her, dragging her into the woods and assaulting her with a handgun, causing serious injuries. Hall is charged with kidnapping, strangulation and malicious wounding in the incident involving the woman. Hall is being held without bond.
