Police officers in St. Albans said an investigation has been launched into a former high school girls basketball coach. Officers said they began investigating St. Albans High School Girls Basketball Coach Ricky Steele in May, but will not release information on the nature of that investigation. Kanawha County Schools Spokesperson Briana Warner said they have been made aware of allegations into Steele but will not comment on personnel matters. Warner did confirm that Steele is no longer employed by Kanawha County Schools.
