Cabell Co. 911 hosted an event Friday afternoon to celebrate 35 years of service.
The 911 center on Gallaher St. in Huntington celebrated current and retired dispatchers. Other first responders and county employees were also in attendance. Cabell Co. 911 started in 1989 in the basement of Huntington City Hall and currently has about 43 employees.
