‘Almost Heaven’ swing is installed at a scenic location in Mason County

The latest “Almost Heaven” swing has been installed in Mason County. City workers in Point Pleasant have erected a new wooden swing in Tu-Endie-Wei State Park, according to a social media post from the city. The swing joins more than two dozen other swings scattered across the Mountain State, highlighting overlooks and noteworthy landscapes. Tu-Endie-Wei is located along Main Street at the confluence of the Kanawha and Ohio Rivers and boasts a view of the Silver Memorial Bridge. The historical park features large murals depicting 1774’s Battle of Point Pleasant and is named after a Wyandotte word meaning “between two waters.”
