A domestic violence emergency protective order has been dismissed against Raleigh County’s prosecuting attorney. Benjamin Hatfield was accused of domestic violence against a woman who identified herself as a “sexual partner” in the petition that was filed last Tuesday in Raleigh County. Following a more than three-hour hearing in Raleigh County Family Court, Hatfield’s attorney, Brandon Steele, said the case was dismissed and called the allegations “baseless and false.”
