A Cross Lanes man pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter this week. 24-year old Alexander Hall,of Cross Lanes, was charged with the killing of 52-year old Billie Parker of Spencer, after he was initially charged with domestic battery following an incident with a woman at Carleton Court Apartments. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said Parker was shot two times and died after being taken to the hospital. Sentencing for Hall will be on September 22.
