A man involved in a standoff Wednesday in the Sissonville area was identified as
Joshua Patterson. He’s charged with wanton endangerment involving a firearm, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court, accused of firing multiple shots from a gun as the result of an argument. It happened at a home near Tate Hollow Road and Salemburg Lane. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office deployed a SWAT team while warrants were obtained. Patterson eventually surrendered from a wooded area close to his home.
