A Morgantown physician has pleaded guilty to filing false tax returns. David M. Anderson admitted to filing false tax returns that understated his taxable income, causing a loss of $143,599 to the Internal Revenue Service, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia. Anderson faces up to three years in federal prison when he is sentenced.
