Former Guard member faces sexual abuse charges

A former National Guard member accused of sexually abusing a minor hundreds of times is facing decades in prison. 50-year old William Craddock of Madison was sentenced to prison this week on 10 counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian. The judge quested a 60-day evaluation before making a final decision. A concurrent sentence would put Craddock behind bars for 10-to-20 years while a consecutive sentence would run between 100 and 200 years. A West Virginia National Guard spokesperson confirmed Craddock was a former member of the 130th Airlift Wing in Charleston.
