Community members came out on Monday to voice their concerns regarding AEP’s price hikes at a public hearing. AEP asking for 20.4 million dollars to expand their net energy costs, starting on September first. Many who commented expressed their ongoing disapproval of the rate hikes discussed within the past few months. The new rate hike proposed would increase residential rates up to seventeen percent, which would mean adding twenty eight dollars most monthly bills.
