West Virginia American Water has released a list of projects that address the state’s aging utility lines. A news release from the company outlined $13.2 million in investments that will replace more than 40,000 feet of water mains. In Kanawha County, that includes water lines on East Riverview Drive in Belle; Birch Road, Bridge Road, Garden Heights Drive, Quarrier Street, Beauregard Street & Ruffner Avenue in Charleston; Cherry Lane in Clendenin, and Devonshire Drive in Elkview. There are several other projects planned in Fayette and Summers counties. The water company noted customers may experience interruptions in service during construction.
