A West Virginia man wanted in multiple criminal investigations, including murder, was taken into custody in Kanawha County on Monday. 32-year old Jamie Ray Jones of Fairmont was arrested at a home in the Kelly’s Creek area. Jones was wanted in Fairmont for kidnapping and attempted murder. He was also wanted in a separate case for accessory after the fact of murder. Investigators said they investigated tips on Jones’ location in at least five states before taking him into custody. He is currently being held without bond.
