The Barboursville Target has a reopening date after a landslide caused part of the building to break off earlier this year. Barboursville Mayor Chris Tatum told Eyewitness News that the retail location is expected to reopen Sunday, Nov. 3.
The reopening would come nearly 10 months after the hillside behind the Target began slipping, causing the back corner of the store to go with it at the beginning of February. Crews have been working the last several months to rebuild and reinforce the hillside behind the store.
