Kentucky’s Opioid Abatement Commission has approved funding for a new statewide drug prevention program, utilizing well-known Kentuckians to encourage youth they’re “Better Off Without It.” Attorney General Russell Coleman said the program will be tailored to fit the Commonwealth, bringing in elements of social media and peer mentoring to make an impact in Kentucky, encouraging teens and young adults to avoid drug use.
