A fourth murder suspect in Huntington enters Kenndedy plea

One of four men charged in the 2022 death of a man in Huntington entered pleas Tuesday. 19-year old Damarquis Patterson entered a Kennedy plea to conspiracy to commit murder and pleaded guilty to a failure to appear charge. Patterson was charged in November 2022 after Christopher Johnson died following a shooting in the 1800 block of Ninth Avenue. Patterson and three others – Malik Hawk, Lawrence Floyd and Matthew Daughtery face charges. Eyewitness News reported Patterson faces one to five years in prison for each charge. He will be sentenced Dec. 17. The three other suspects previously entered Kennedy pleas in the case in August.
