The American Heart Association held it’s annual Heart Walk in Charleston Saturday morning to raise money for heart health. Dozens of people showed up with laced sneakers, ready to walk the GoMart Ball Park to raise money for the non-profit. The goal of the event was to bring awareness to heart health while raising funds to help those in the mountain state. Eyewitness News’ Gina Marini was the emcee for the event and organizers said more than $127,000 was raised to go to those experiencing cardiovascular diseases, research and awareness.
