A man died Friday afternoon following a crash involving a motorcycle in Kanawha County, deputies said. A motorcycle exiting Interstate 77 at Kanawha Boulevard and a car attempting to cross the boulevard at Piedmont Road crashed shortly before noon, investigators told Eyewitness News. Deputies said the motorcyclist was taken to a hospital where he died from injuries sustained in the wreck. The driver of the car was not injured and remained on scene to cooperate with investigators. Deputies are working to reconstruct the crash, but told Eyewitness News no charges have been filed.
