New teen space opens at the Guyandotte Public Library in Huntington

The Guyandotte Public Library held a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony this week for their new teen area. The new space will give teens a place to play, create, and study. It includes a gaming center, study area, makerspace, and lounge seating. The center was paid for with $6000 in city ARPA funds. It was a collaboration between Huntington City Councilwoman Ally Layman and Branch Manager Kista Black. The library is located at 203 Richmond Street in Huntington.
