WVU building is closed after a chemical leak is discovered

A building on West Virginia University’s campus was closed Saturday morning after a chemical leak was reported. The leak was reported before 9 a.m. at the Agricultural Sciences Building on the Evansdale area of campus, according to a news release from the university. The building was closed as a precaution and no injuries were reported. University workers were looking into the issue Saturday. The building is expected to remain closed until further notice.
