Chuck Charles will be returning to Ashland’s mayoral seat. He held this position from 2013 to 2016. Eyewitness News spoke with him and he said he’s excited to be back in January. Charles said he wants to see improvements being made to the city, and one that’s in the works now is a conference center in downtown Ashland. Charles said this center would bring more jobs to the area and revenue from the center will help the city. The city commission will weigh all of the options.
