A person was shot by a homeowner during an alleged burglary overnight Wednesday in Cabell County. It was reported just before 1 a.m. in the 2000 block of U.S. 60 in the Ona area, according to Cabell County dispatchers. The sheriff’s office said a suspect was shot in the legs by a homeowner who reported a burglary. The suspect is still in the hospital with unknown injuries.
